The TicketForce client and sales staff gathered at the amazing Saguaro Scottsdale Hotel on Thursday, November 7th for our second annual FaceTime Event! The event started in 2011 with a July event scheduled around the IAVM Venue Connect Event in Phoenix – and after skipping a year – is now on track for an annual November event in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona.

Clients were greeted in the morning at the sunny and bright Saguaro Hotel – the vibe here is perfect for TicketForce's approach to our business and our clients – casual, energetic, and friendly. Staff were on hand sporting the new TF logo on our shirts, notepads, stickers, and signage.

Rather than a session or lecture-style day, we love to let our clients be each other's best resource. After the networking breakfast and quick introductions (CEO Lynne King Smith made it around the room introducing each client by name…) we started the morning with a Success Story from Lucas Cullum of Herberger Theater. Lucas showed off the performance themes used to sell Lunch Time Theater Lunches which utilize the cart callouts to prompt buyers to purchase a lunch and then guide them through the options – much like Jason's Deli! – of choosing sides, drinks, salads, etc. After years of patrons wading through confusing options, it's now a clean and easy way to pre-purchase lunch items and send the orders off to the caterer.

The only formal presentation of the day was from CEO Lynne King Smith with "Want Points With That? Using Loyalty Programs to Build Your Patron / Fan Base"

The Group Think Q and A was fast-moving and included questions thrown out to the group to answer. We had a great blend of long-term clients and brand new ones – allowing for fantastic collaboration.

Another popular group breakout was dividing up by job roles – such as Box Office, Marketing, General Manager's. Again, the experts (such as Kara Osborn of Tempe Center for the Arts, Kosha Irby, and Heidi Robinson of Northern Arizona University) had a lot to offer their constituents.

Just before the amazing lunch at the Saguaro, we boarded a bus and headed to the amazing Celebrity Theatre for a venue tour. Thanks to Kelli Kereny and Kelly Latham for the tour of the now historic theatre in Phoenix! Getting a look at the newly remodeled green room, dressing rooms and standing on the stage "in the round" was great!

As always, clients love hearing about new features, new clients and what's ahead for TicketForce – so we ended the day with that, and an hour to spend either getting a drink or one on one time with a TicketForce staff member getting answers to your unique questions.

We closed out the evening with a taco bar reception on the patio – where it felt like a staff party with our clients, families and vendors.

If you missed this year's event, get it on the calendar NOW – you won't want to miss it. There will always be fresh material and new people to meet and interact with – so clients, make FaceTime an annual event. There's no charge to attend the day – and we will always offer contests and opportunities to win FREE airfare and a night's stay.
